Superintendent of Schools
Dr. David Baker begins his eighth year as Superintendent with the Springboro Community City Schools and his 37th year in education. He has been a music teacher, assistant principal, Director of Pupil Personnel, Director of Personnel, Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent. He received his Bachelor's Degree from The Ohio State University where he was a four-year member of the marching band. He received his Master's Degree in 1972 from The Ohio State University and his doctorate in 1980 from The Ohio State University.
Dave is also a FAA -licensed pilot, holding private, instrument, and commercial ratings. Dave and his wife Donna have been married for 39 years, and reside in Clearcreek Township. Donna owns and operates two daycare centers, Alphabet Child Care Centers. They have two children. Amy is married and is an attorney with the Dayton firm of Freund, Freeze & Arnold, while Kristin is a graduate of Marshall University.
