Vision
In order to provide the opportunity for our learning community to become life long learners and productive citizens, we envision a learning environment which consists of the following:
- Computer labs in all buildings K-12, three-to-five multimedia computers in each classroom K-8, and dedicated workstations for each teacher/administrator to have instant access to student data, current information, and communication/productivity tools.
- Access to current and emerging technologies (eg. Wireless networking, handheld devices, probes and data gathering devices, and distance learning for both students and staff
- A greater internet presence with an enhanced district website that allows for improved communication between the district and community-at-large. This would include teacher-parent access to up-to-date student data and curriculum information.
- Remote access for staff and students to have reliable and consistent availability of productivity tools, databases, software applications, and electronic portfolios.
- Adequate support for technical assistance including maintenance as well as integration of technology into existing and future curriculum.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Springboro Community City Schools is to excel in educating and motivating all students to become life long learners and productive citizens.
