Springboro Community Schools’ Student Registration Office will begin taking Kindergarten registrations for the 2008-2009 school year on March 3, 2008.
The registration office will be open from 8:00a.m. – 4:00p.m. Monday-Friday. The office is located at Springboro Junior High, 1605 S. Main Street at Door 16 on the back side of the building.
A child is eligible for entrance into Kindergarten if s/he attains the age of five (5) on or before September 30 of the year in which s/he applies for entrance.
Registration packets are available on-line at the district website www.springboro.org or you may pick one up at the Student Registration Office.
Kindergarten Screening will be held the week of April 14-18, 2008. Mandatory KRA-L testing will be held August 18-20, 2008.
Kindergarten AM and PM assignments will be decided through the Transportation Department. These assignments will be mailed to you before July 1, 2008.
Parents will need to bring with them the completed registration packet and the following information for registration. Registrations will not be accepted without all required documents.

CHILD’S IMMUNIZATION RECORD
- DPT (diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus) 4-5 shots. If 4th shot was given before age 4, child must have the 5th DPT booster.
- Polio 3-4 doses. If the 3rd dose was given before the child’s 4th birthday, child must have the 4th dose.
- MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) 2 doses. The 1st dose must be after age 1 year and the 2nd dose must be given at least one month after the 1st dose.
- Varcilla (chicken pox) 1 dose must be administered on or after the 1st birthday.
- HepB (hepatitis B) 3 doses. The 1st dose can be given any time after birth. The 2nd dose must be 30 days after the 1st dose. The 3rd dose must be given 6 months after the 1st dose.
- PROOF OF RESIDENCY
We will accept the mailing portion of your water, phone, electric or cable bill, lease agreement or closing papers on your house. Proof must show name and address. (Driver’s licenses, checks, bank and insurance documents and statements are not acceptable.)
