Welcome to the Class of 2030!
We know our parents have lots of questions about the start of the year. Please note that information will be mailed home the week of July 24. But in the meantime, here are some dates to keep in mind:
Kindergarten Screening
The dates for kindergarten screening are Aug. 8, 9 and 10. Letters will be mailed to parents the week of July 24 with information about their child's screening date and time.
Bus Beginnings
Bus Beginnings is a special event that teaches kindergartners about bus safety. Bus Beginnings dates are:
- Morning Kindergarten: Aug. 9, 10:30 am & 1pm
- Afternoon Kindergarten: Aug. 10, 10:30 am & 1pm
Preschoolers and first graders are also welcome to attend. If you can't make a designated session (e.g., your child will attend afternoon kindergarten but you can only make the August 9 session) no worries. We will be happy to accommodate you!
First-Day Phase-In
The first full day of kindergarten is Aug. 22.
Kindergarten phase-in days are Aug. 17, 18 and 21. Students with last names beginning with A-F report on Aug. 17, G-O on Aug. 18, and P-Z on Aug. 21. There will be no busing of kindergarten students until Aug. 22. Also, phase-in times are NOT the same as the regular school day:
- Morning Kindergarten 9 am - 11 am
- Afternoon Kindergarten 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
