Congratulations to all the junior high Strings, Choir, and Band, Choir, students who participated Saturday in OMEA Junior High Solo and Ensemble Contest. These students worked extremely hard to put together some terrific music and represented the Springboro Junior High School in a wonderful way!

Choir:  

• Receiving the score of Excellent were soloists Abi Gogel & Katherine Hollister.  
• Soloists receiving the score of Superior were Ella Widau, Ally Hodapp, Alyssa Jimenez, Maisha Choudhury, Shannon Burnett, Paige Curp, Shelby McCoy and Alina Haq.  
• The first period SA ensemble sang “All The Pretty Little Horses” and received a Superior score. Performers in that ensemble were: Harley Shear, Rachel Parks, Alyssa Jimenez, Abigail Gogel, Shelby McCoy, & Maisha Choudhury.  
• The third period Mixed Ensemble sang a setting of a Paul Laurence Dunbar poem, “The River Sleeps Beneath the Sky” and were Superior as well. Students in that ensemble were: Shannon Burnett, Karlee Daulton, Alison Kilpatrick, Taryn Large, Maddie Sandner, Maliah Silas, Trinity Bauman, Bobby Kopp, Hazen Powell, Olivia Powell, Emma Daulton, Katherine Hollister, Maddie Green, Paige Curp, & Emma Nicley.
