Clearcreek Students Run a Bakery Business
After completing the Junior Achievement section at school, Clearcreek Elementary students in Miss Hathaway’s 1st Grade Class decided to use the skills they learned and develop a business plan to "run" a business. The students decided they would open a bakery.
The bakery was marketed by the students, along with helping to cook and run the overall business. The students sold to staff, teachers and parents, while also learning about great customer service and handling money.
The money they earned was donated to “Shoes 4 the Shoeless,” a local non-profit who provides shoes to kids in the area. The students raised over $500.
