Springboro High School Air Force Junior ROTC drill team took overall
first place at the Delaware County Annual Drill Meet in Delaware, Ohio
on February 17, 2018.
A total of eight (8) schools from Ohio
competed in eleven (11) separate events. Of those eleven (11) events,
SHS had eight (8) 1st place finishes and three (3), 2nd place finishes.
Also, Senior Kylar Smith and Juniors Kinley Smith and Jacob Strunks
were awarded top flight commander for each event they commanded.
This is the fourth drill meet of the season in which SHS was named the
overall champion. They will compete again on February 24th at Westland
High School.
