Pajama Day is December 11th for All Springboro Schools

Warm Hugs Fundraiser

Pajama Day is December 11th! Bring in $1.00 to Wear Pajamas at School!

Springboro Schools is working to help raise money for the Warm Hugs Fund established at the Dayton Foundation. Warm Hugs is a nonprofit program that serves to provide a blanket to Hispanic children living in the Miami Valley who lack basic necessities.

On Tuesday, Dec. 11th, Springboro Schools’ students, in all buildings, will be asked to donate $1.00 towards the cause. In doing so, students will be permitted to wear pajamas for the day. NOTE – Please make sure that your student wears appropriate winter pajamas; no short skirts/shorts or spaghetti strap tops.

Through the help of several organizations, including Springboro’s Junior Rotary Club (Springboro Interact), Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), and High Hopes 4 Kids, Springboro Schools has started raising funds for the Warm Hugs nonprofit program, and will be looking to keep this fundraising going during the holiday season. Last year, Springboro Schools was able to raise over $3,000 towards this cause.

All proceeds will go towards the Warm Hugs nonprofit program, a component of the Dayton Foundation, for the purchase of a new blanket to those children in need. Thank you!
