First Grade Ice Cream Social to Benefit Sensory Garden

1st Grade Ice Cream Social

The second Annual First Grade Ice Cream Social event was held last week at Clearcreek Elementary. All proceeds from this event went towards new additions to the Sensory Garden, in order to continue to help Clearcreek Elementary students!
This Spring, all First Grade students created pottery clay bowls that were baked, glazed, and personalized for this special event. Families and students who attended the Ice Cream Social event were able to pay for the bowl and take home the personal keepsake. In addition attendees got to eat delicious ice cream, enjoy a photo booth, tour the sensory garden, and participate in face painting!

In total, three hundred (300) bowls were sold and approximately $3,333 was raised for this event.
There was a lot of support with local businesses through the donation of ice cream and supplies from The K, Scoops Ice Cream, and Cold Stone Creamery to make this event successful!

K & W - Ice cream
