Thank you to Dr. Ron Malone and Mr. Bob Thompson who graciously served as interim Co-Principals for Springboro Intermediate (SI) during this school year (2018 - 2019).
Springboro Intermediate staff hosted a wonderful breakfast for Dr. Malone and Mr. Thompson, in order to extend their appreciate for another great school year. Before Dr. Malone and Mr. Thompson each said a few kind words, SI staff presented Dr. Malone and Mr. Thompson with a framed staff picture, signed by everyone in the building.
Dr. Ron Malone and Mr. Bob Thompson stepped in at the beginning of the 2018 - 2019 school year to serve as interim Co-Principals for Springboro Intermediate when Mrs. Diane Stacey underwent surgery for lingering medical issues, resulting in her retirement. Both Dr. Malone and Mr. Thompson came with a wealth of administrative experience, including experience in Springboro School buildings. In previous years, Dr. Malone served as Springboro High School Principal and Mr. Thompson served as Junior High Principal.
Springboro Schools is proud to welcome Brooke Coulter as the new Springboro Intermediate Principal. Coulter, who previously served as Assistant Principal at Springboro Junior High School (SJHS), will oversee Springboro Intermediate, the 6th grade building within Springboro Schools beginning with the 2019 - 2020 school year.
Towards the end of this school year, Dr. Malone and Mr. Thompson worked with Coulter as she prepared to transition into the Principal role at SI. This past Spring, Coulter would spend one day a week working with students and staff at SI, as well as 5th grade students at both Dennis and Five Points Elementary.
