Mr. Davis, a Springboro High School Social Studies Teacher, took his Advanced Placement (AP) Human Geography students on a field trip to Miami Valley CTC (MVCTC). There, SHS students visited with students from a English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) class, and were tasked with interviewing refugees and immigrants from this ESOL class.
Afterwards, students attended a naturalization ceremony at the United States District Court.
