Clearcreek Elementary Receives 5-Star Step Up to Quality Rating 
The Preschool program at Clearcreek Elementary has been awarded a 5-Star Step Up to Quality Rating. Step Up To Quality recognizes early care and education programs that provide quality early learning experiences to students in Ohio.

Principal Carrie Corder, Assistant Principal Jessica Jones, and Preschool staff were recognized at the Dec. 14th Board of Education meeting. Each Preschool staff member received a signed plaque from Board President Dave Stuckey, Board Vice President Charles Anderson, Superintendent Dan Schroer, and Treasurer Terrah Floyd.

In addition, Principal Carrie Corder, Superintendent Dan Schroer, and several Clearcreek Elementary students helped make this announcement to the school, presenting the Preschool with five blue star balloons.
Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) is a 5-star quality rating and improvement system administered by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality program standards that exceed licensing health and safety regulations. The program standards are based on national research identifying standards which lead to improved outcomes for children.

The following Clearcreek Preschool staff were recognized; Amanda Arnold, Joanna Bellar, Kehlen Bushatz, Gretchen Capogna, Carrie Corder, Amy Corrado, Jennifer Crouse, Melissa Dolan, Amy Fritz, Brittany Haacke, Jessica Jones, Kathy Lowe, Holly Pearson, Crystal Reffitt, Tori Ruhle, Susanne Trainer, and Ann Uhlenhake.
