United States Magistrate Judge Visits SJHS

Michael J. Newman, United States Magistrate Judge of the United States
District Court (Southern District of Ohio) visited Springboro Junior
High this morning, January 19th. Along with Law Clerks Michael Rhinehart
and LeighAnn Thomas, Newman spoke about the American judicial system
and its role in the overall fabric of our system of government. Newman
invited students to the Federal Building and the United States Courthouse to learn more about the court process.
The judges, lawyers, and staff of the U.S. District Court in Dayton
cherish and value the opportunity to teach and mentor students about the
American justice system, and very much appreciate the opportunity to
meet Springboro students.
