Springboro Schools presented a fundraising check for $9,000 to David Thompson for the Coffman Family YMCA at July 17th Board of Education meeting.
The Coffman YMCA is a great supporter of Springboro Schools, as well as
the Springboro Community. Every year, the Coffman YMCA runs a campaign
to help families with financial assistance. Over the past few years,
Springboro Schools has conducted a fundraising drive to assist with this campaign. Last year, Springboro Schools raised $6,337.87 as a school district.
A team of staff members from Springboro Schools volunteered to lead a fundraising process this year, in order to raise money for the Coffman Family YMCA’s campaign, which resulted in $9,000 being raised. This team of volunteers consisted of; Jimmy Aker (SHS), Carrie Corder (Clearcreek Elementary), Brooke Coulter (SJHS), Shirley Coulter (SI), Brandon Grubenhoff (Dennis Elementary), and Jaime Lierly (Five Points Elementary)
