SHS Air Force JROTC cadets participated in the annual West Point Society's Greater Cincinnati Leadership and Ethics Seminar on February 8th. The goal of the seminar was to provide high school students with an opportunity to better understand how to improve leadership abilities & develop and use personal values to make ethical-based decisions under difficult circumstances.
The day involved hearing a key-note speaker with extensive leadership experience followed by several small group break-out sessions. These break out sessions were led by West Point graduates with military, industry, and educational leadership experience. Over 350 high school students from 60+ schools in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky attended the seminar. The JROTC cadets in attendance were juniors Ashley Gangaware, Tori Kenline, Kaleb Priddy, Sadie Schindler, and Paige Sullivan.
