"Farm to Table" comes to Springboro High School (SHS) as part of the district's partnership with the Warren County Career Center (WCCC). SHS students will be engaged in learning to grow hydroponically, also known as aeroponics. The system uses water, liquid nutrients, and a soil-less growing medium. This allows to quickly and efficiently grow vegetables and herbs to be used by students in their Family and Consumer Science Labs at Springboro High School.
Two students from Mr. Roderick's Civil Engineering class at SHS were tasked with putting together the Hydroponic Tower for Mrs. Harris' Global Foods class.
