Second Grade

  •  Materials Needed:
    • Theory book- Theory for Children, level 1 (Mel Bay publishing) McCutcheon Music
    • Wire Stand: Used for home practice. Available at McCutcheon and That Music Place
    • Suzuki Strings Packet Bring to string class every class period.
    • Suzuki School Volume 1 Music CD: Any performer is fine. Please listen to (and sing with recordings every day)
    •  
  • Looking at Music on Stand: (Use these steps for reviews and new music)
    • Sing words and air bow song
    • Pizzacato each note, saying letters as you pizz.
    • Arco 2 (or more, if needed), times looking at the music
    • Arco again without looking at the music
