Infohio Resources for Grade K-5

INFOhio's state-funded resources are available to all Ohio's K-12 students and teachers. Username and Password is required for home access; see your librarian and pick up a Infohio Bookmark.

netTrekker An award-winning academic search engine that's safe, fast and easy-to use for teachers, school librarians, staudents and parents.  Over 180,000 educator-selected online resources organized by readability level and aligned with YOUR state or provincial standards. You must have username and password, see librarian or computer teacher if you do not have one.

OPLIN 

Ohio Public Library Information Network. Their mission is to ensure that all Ohio residents have fast, free public Internet access throughout the state, as well as the use of high-quality research databases not freely available on the World Wide Web. They do this through Ohio's 251 independent local public libraries.  To access their electronic resources, click on Research  Databases.  You must be in Ohio and provide a zip code to use these resources.

Dayton Metro Electronic Resources

The library makes available a number of invaluable databases to help everyone from the new parents looking for medical advice, to small business owners looking for market information. One Search will search all of these at once or you can pick and choose sources for searching. Includes Opposing Viewpoints.
