SHS Student Wins National Gold Key in Scholastic Art & Writing Awards
Springboro High School student Jordyn Isaacks has earned national recognition for her exceptional artistic talent, winning a National Gold Key in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, the nation's longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens.
Jordyn’s award-winning oil painting stood out among thousands of entries submitted by students from across the country. Her piece was first recognized at the regional level with a Gold Key, qualifying it for national adjudication. She also earned a Silver Key regionally for a striking digital drawing.
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, founded in 1923, spotlight originality, technical skill, and a unique artistic voice. Jurors—who include celebrated artists and writers such as Judy Blume, Billy Collins, and David Sedaris—evaluate submissions anonymously, ensuring a fair and unbiased process. Being selected for a National Gold Key is a rare and significant honor that places Jordyn among the top young artists in the nation.
Her achievement highlights her talent, hard work, and creative vision. Congratulations to Jordyn on this incredible accomplishment. ??
