Chief Meteorologist Speaks with SJHS Meteorology Club

Meteorologist WHIO
Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs with WHIO-TV recently visited the Springboro Junior High Meteorology Club. Vrydaghs answered student questions related to weather, explained what the job of a Chief Meteorologist entails, and how multiple pathways can lead to the profession. Ms. Vrydaghs' message focused on how determination and hard work will lead to success.

Vrydaghs also did several great demonstrations to show how different forms of precipitation develop based on varying temperatures in the atmosphere. The Junior High Meteorologist Club students even got to see Vrydaghs' Emmy Award received for her excellence in television broadcasting.

Thank you to Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs with WHIO who took time yesterday to speak with the Springboro Junior High Meteorology Club after school in Mr. Gerlinger's room.
