Students from Clearcreek Elementary assisted the City of Springboro on planting one (1) Red Maple tree near the playground at their school in celebration of Arbor Day. 1st Grade students joined Principal Carrie Corder for the ceremony.
Springboro City Council member and Deputy Mayor Becky Iverson read a proclamation announcing on behalf of the City of Springboro. City Manager Chris Pozzuto joined other School and City staff members for the event.
This marks Springboro’s 26th year of being designated a Tree City USA by the National Arbor Foundation.
