Each school building conducted a virtual “Building Reopening Meeting,” in order to discuss current plans for the In-Person (Model A) reopening of school. These meetings took place through a Facebook Live Event, and the community was invited to watch and comment with questions. Each meeting was moderated by a Springboro Schools administrator, who monitored the Facebook Live comments/questions and relayed them to the building Principal, where questions were answered live during the meeting. Each meeting was recorded and posted to our website (see below).

The meetings lasted approximately 45 minutes, and began with a brief presentation by the building Principal. Following the presentation, the moderator read community questions (posted in the comments section on the Facebook Live post) to the Principal. A panel was present at each “Building Reopening Meeting” to answer your questions. This panel included the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent of Instruction, the Executive Director of Business Facilities and Operations, the building Principal, the District Nurse, as well as a representative from our Special Education Department.
These “Building Reopening Meetings” were meant to relay each building’s reopening plan for our In-Person (Model A) option. Any questions posted were to pertain to that particular building-level. Questions regarding the overall district or our Model B option, would not have been read at this meeting, as we wanted to allow ample time for parents who had building-specific questions.
Not all comments/questions were able to be read during the meeting, however we invite you to visit the district’s COVID-19 web page for a list of FAQs, regarding our district’s reopening. If you have a building-level specific question that was not able to be answered at the “Building Reopening Meeting,” due to time, please email your building Principal.
