French Immersion Day at Wright State University

SHS Students at Wright State

Bonjour! Students from Springboro High School’s (SHS) French IV & French V (AP) classes attended Wright State University's annual French Immersion Day.

This year’s theme was the Notre Dame Cathedral, in honor of it officially reopening to the public this coming December (2024) after a fire back in 2019. Our Panthers did an incredible job putting their French Language to use while they interacted with WSU professors and students from other districts.

The students jumped into every activity with enthusiasm. Traveling from SHS to “Paris, France” for the day gave our students not only the opportunity to speak French, but to also learn so many interesting facts about Notre Dame. Madame Berg and Madame Lamoureux were extremely proud of the students!

To top it all off, the shirts given to all those attending happened to be designed and created by SHS’s very own Peter Berwald! Once again, our school and community were shining bright across the Miami Valley!
