PEACOC Presents: Hispanic Heritage Month Contest
Calling all Springboro area students! You are invited to compete in the 2023 Hispanic Heritage Contest. The contest is a part of the National Hispanic Heritage Month celebration sponsored by Parents Empowering All Children of Color (PEACOC). Hispanic Heritage has been celebrated and commemorated since 1968 and became officially a nationally recognized month in 1988. PEACOC is excited to provide an opportunity for Springboro area students to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by learning about and honoring Hispanic and Latin Americans.
General Information
The Hispanic Heritage Month Contest is open to all students in Kindergarten through 12th grade who live or attend school in Springboro or Clearcreek Township. All submissions must be received on Friday, October 6, 2023. Submissions can be turned in to your school’s office and/or art teachers. PEACOC will pick up all entries from your school. Please email PEACOC to make alternative arrangements for submission.

Submissions that do not meet the criteria, are not complete, or that plagiarized others’ work will not be considered. By your submission, PEACOC is granted permission to use your likeness and video for purposes of the Hispanic Heritage Month Contest. All entries will be displayed at Southwest Church.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony and reception on Saturday, October 14th at 4 pm.
