The Jonathan Wright DAR Chapter (#4138 OH) hosted a Commemorative Plaque Dedication today at Rotary Park in Springboro. Daughters of the American Revolution Chapter Regent Cheryl Cavandish, Past Chapter Regent Lynda Walker, and Chapter Chaplain Kari Watts led the ceremony, which included Mayor John Agenbroad accepting the plaque on behalf of the City of Springboro.
Springboro High School's JROTC was on hand to present the colors, along with Lt Col, USAF (Ret) Todd Berrier, SHS Senior Aerospace Science Instructor, AFJROTC, as well as MSGT Michael Thiergart SHS Air Force Aerospace Science Instructor.
Named after Springboro's founder, the Jonathan Wright Chapter of the American Revolution was organized in Dec. 2000. The plaque has been placed at Rotary Park in Springboro by the Jonathan Wright Chapter, NSDAR 2022.
