Tick tock! The start of school is just a few days away. Our teachers and staff are hard at work not only prepping their classrooms, but collaborating with one another across the district. Close to 100 professional development (PD) sessions were offered to Springboro Schools' teachers and staff today! Each building was buzzing with excitement, knowledge, and anticipation for the new school year!
Our educators joined sessions on a wide variety of topics including: "Amplify Science," International Language Standards, PBIS, AP Capstone, STRs, and Kindergarten Planning just to name a few.
Superintendent Carrie Hester and Treasurer/CFO Terrah Stacy hosted a PD session entitled, "State of the Schools Finances 101," where attendees heard an overview of where the district's resources come from, and where they go. Participants also learned how we measure up to other school districts in Warren County, and those deemed by the Ohio Dept. of Education (ODE) to be most similar to us.
