Sarah Schleehauf, Board Member
Currently Serving in 1st Year as a Springboro Schools' BOE Member
9th Year Volunteering with Springboro Clearcreek Baseball Association (SCBA) as Softball Vice President

"I think serving as a Board member is one of the most meaningful contributions I can make to my community. I believe my range of educational experiences (classroom teacher and school administrator) impact my decision making in doing what's best for students and our future."

What is the Best Part About Serving as a BOE Member?
The best part about being a school board member has been learning about the great work our students and staff are doing and how our community support strengthens our school district. I am also fortunate to work alongside the other board members and administration in working together in supporting the aspirations detailed in our district strategic plan.

Have You or a Family Member Ever Worked/Volunteered in Springboro Schools in Another Role?
I have volunteered in my son's classrooms throughout elementary school. The last two years with the school PTO organizations as a co-chair teacher/staff appreciation. My husband has not volunteered with the schools, but gave back to the community by volunteering six years as a coach for SCBA.

What is Something Important You'd Like the Community to Know About Springboro Schools?
We are a successful school district because of the dedicated, incredible Springboro Schools' staff both inside and outside of the classroom. The dedication to our students enables them to thrive and grow.

What is the Best Part About Serving as a BOE Member?
Seeing the impacts we’ve been able to make on students, staff, and faculty.

Have You or a Family Member Ever Worked/Volunteered in Springboro Schools in Another Role?
Yes, my wife Angie has volunteered as PTO leadership and was on the levy campaign leadership team.

What is Something Important You'd Like the Community to Know About Springboro Schools?
Our educational experience and community are second to none.

Lisa Babb, Board Member

Also Serves on the Warren County Career Center (WCCC) Board

"Our staff truly cares about each individual child. It's that quality that helps us keep the small, hometown feel while maintaining high quality education."

What is the Best Part About Serving as a BOE Member?
I love doing what's best for kids. It's rewarding knowing we are supporting strong administrators who truly do love our kids and want to support them in the best way possible.

Have You or a Family Member Ever Worked/Volunteered in Springboro Schools in Another Role?
I served as homeroom Mom multiple years for all four of my boys. I was also actively involved in multiple levy campaigns. I've served on many school committees and assisted in the boys' classrooms whenever the need arose (Jr. Achievement, helping kids who were struggling, overall teacher support).

What is Something Important You'd Like the Community to Know About Springboro Schools?
I love connecting with staff to let them know the work they do does NOT go unnoticed and to make sure they feel appreciated.

Jamie Belanger, Board Vice President
8th Year as a Springboro Schools' BOE Member
Previously Served on the Indiana University Board of Trustees

"As a parent of three children in the district, I appreciate the opportunity to serve our school community and to play a role in ensuring that all of our (students) receive an education that prepares them to succeed at whatever they choose to pursue when they leave our care."

What is the Best Part About Serving as a BOE Member?
There are many things about serving that I enjoy, but participating in graduation is by far the best part in my opinion. That day represents the culmination of a great deal of sacrifice and hard work and I am appreciative of the opportunity to play a small role in helping our students celebrate this accomplishment.

Have You or a Family Member Ever Worked/Volunteered in Springboro Schools in Another Role?
My wife and I have both volunteered within the schools. I have helped with "Dads & Donuts," provided feedback for AP Research students, helped at the SHS Career Day, and participated in the Junior High "Real Money, Real World" simulation. My wife has served on the District Parent Council (DPC) and as President of the Five Points Elementary PTO, while also volunteering extensively within our children's classrooms.

What is Something Important You'd Like the Community to Know About Springboro Schools?
I continue to be amazed at the generosity and dedication of those involved with our district. There have been countless examples over the years of our students/staff/administrators/community members, etc. stepping up to go above and beyond in order to meet a need. Certainly, we have our challenges, but the way our community comes together when needed is special.

Dave Stuckey, Board President
10th Year as a Springboro Schools' BOE Member
Teacher/Coach for 34 Years in Springboro Schools

"I look forward to continuing to serve our community, our staff, and to also continue to support our administration as they move forward to maintain Springboro as the best place to live and educate our students."

What is the Best Part About Serving as a BOE Member?
The best part is making sure that our students have what they need to be successful, as well as providing the necessary resources for our staff to allow our students to be successful.

What is Something Important You'd Like the Community to Know About Springboro Schools?
If you are new to our community or even if you have lived here for a long period of time, you need to know that you are getting a great deal for what you have to invest. Going back to when I first started here in 1979 our staff has done an outstanding job of preparing our students to go on to their next step in life. We have been able to do that with what our community has provided for us to work with. Thank you to our community!
