Springboro 45066: Financial Literacy Class at SHS
Check out this episode of Springboro 45066, where Co-Host Carrie Robbins sits down with SHS Sophomore Sam Pelfrey and Assistant Superintendent of Instruction Andrea Cook to discuss the district's Financial Literacy class, which is a requirement for graduation.

Beginning next school year, all of Ohio’s freshmen will be required to take a new semester-long class on financial literacy before graduation, due to a new state law. However, since the 2014-15 school year, Springboro High School (SHS) has offered a financial literacy class as a graduation requirement for all SHS graduates.

These classes are offered for grades 9-12, with three (3) dedicated business teachers on staff at SHS.
