Community Raises Over $1,100 For SCAC
SCAC

The Five Points Elementary PTO teamed up with Image Mark-It, a local printing/embroidering company located in downtown Springboro, to hold a fundraiser in support of the Springboro Community Assistance Center (SCAC). The online fundraiser sold Springboro Schools’ spirit wear to the community for two (2) weeks, with all proceeds going to the SCAC.

In total, the #StayStrongSpringboro Fundraiser collected over $1,100, which the SCAC will use towards food and supplies for those families struggling during the State of Ohio’s quarantine.

Since the start of Springboro Schools’ State mandated closure, as a result of COVID-19, the SCAC has been providing food for more than 450 individuals on free/reduced lunch within the school district. Normally, the SCAC will provide meals to families only twice per month. However, given the statewide quarantine, the SCAC is now providing meals to families two days per week until the stay-at-home orders have been lifted.

Those who ordered items, and chose to pick up their order curbside at Image Mark-It (305 S. Main St. Springboro, OH 45066), will be contacted by Image Mark-It with further details. Springboro Schools, the Five Points Elementary PTO, and Image Mark-It would like to thank those for helping to feed the community.

Springboro Schools will continue to provide meals to those families in need. The SCAC will continue its food pick up services to families throughout the community. Food pick up dates will occur on Mondays and Wednesdays each week, throughout the district's closure, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
