This summer, Señora Debbie Tuck and Señora Michele Fonner, Spanish Teachers at Springboro High School (SHS) and Junior High, led a group of 15 students, parents, and teachers to see amazing historical and modern sites in 5 different countries (Italy, the Vatican City, France, Monaco, and Spain).
“This was a fantastic group that made the trip very memorable,” said Debbie Tuck. “We saw Roman ruins, medieval and renaissance buildings, all the way to famous modernist architecture.”
Some special highlights were the Sistine chapel, the Coliseum of Rome, the cathedrals of Florence and Siena, the leaning tower of Pisa, the Roman arena and aqueduct at Nimes, the Sagrada Familia modernist cathedral and the Reina Sofia and Prado art museums.
“I hope that they will cherish the memories they made, and that they will take future opportunities to explore new things.”
