RESCHEDULED - Beyond Bullying: Helping Your Child Navigate and Thrive in Social Situations
February 21, 2019 - 7:00 pm
Springboro High School (LGI Room)

Join us for the third event of this school year. Originally, scheduled to take place in January, this event was rescheduled due to a weather-related school closing.

This will be an interactive discussion with De'Asia Thompson, licensed independent social worker supervisor, for a discussion about helping children navigate and thrive in social situations. She will share strategies for helping your child to manage social struggles, social exclusion, friendship concerns, disagreements, and more in a positive and productive manner.

This event is targeted to parents of students in grades K - 12, but is FREE and open to the public.

We are excited to continue connecting and engaging with our parents and community members in meaningful dialogue around issues impacting our students. Over the course of the 2018-2019 school year, Springboro Schools hosted several speakers on a variety of topics including: the teen brain, prevention, stress & anxiety management, navigating social media, and more. We are looking forward to hosting more speakers this year and we hope you will join us in talking about issues worth talking about!
