Recently, Miss Philippo's 5th grade students at Five Points Elementary got to participate in a drone demonstration from "Drone Hanglar" Company. The students were working on this project with a coordinate grid, finding distance on coordinate grids, and finding distance using a key scale.
After the project was completed, they had "Drone Hanglar" come out and talk about the use of drones, the mechanics behind drones, and what programming they use. Lastly, the students got to see demonstrations of some of the cool programs the drones had like infrared reading, speed it can fly, and how they have sensors on them to stop from crashing.
