Trotwood-Madison City Schools Presents to Board of Education
Board of Education Meeting
Trotwood-Madison City Schools' Board President, Denise Moore, spoke to board members, administration, and parents of Springboro Schools about their gratitude towards the Springboro community for the recent district-wide fundraising efforts to benefit the more than two hundred (200) students who were displaced from their homes, as a result of the tornadoes that struck the city of Trotwood, OH on May 27, 2019.

Denise Moore, and Trotwood-Madison City Schools Board Member Norman Scearce III, presented six (6) framed, poster-sized prints to display in each of the Springboro school buildings, which had the signatures of Trotwood-Madison students. In addition, Ms. Moore and Mr. Scearce also presented a plaque to the Springboro Schools' Board of Education that read:

"In appreciation of your generous donation to benefit the families of Trotwood-Madison City Schools following the devastation of the 'Memorial Day Tornado - May 27, 2019.' The efforts of your district will help restore a sense of normalcy during the long and difficult process of rebuilding."

In October, Springboro Schools and the Springboro Community completed a district-wide fundraiser, which raised $45,071.70 for Trotwood-Madison City Schools, in order to contribute to the continued tornado relief efforts.
