SHS JROTC Drill Team competed in their last drill meet of the season this past weekend, capturing 1st place overall!
There were 9 teams from Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Indiana that competed. The varsity team had four 1st place finishes in Unarmed Drill, Armed Drill, Female Color Guard and Unarmed Exhibition. They took two 2nd place finishes in Unarmed Inspection and Regular Color Guard.
The JV team finished with two 1st place finishes in Unarmed Drill and Color Guard. They also had one 2nd place finish in Armed Drill.
Overall, it was a great finish to the drill season especially for our graduating Senior team members Izabella Bell, Owen Berrier, Nicholas Do, Gabriella Lawrence, Liberty Shutt, and Reagan Yost.
A smaller portion of the Drill Team will compete at the All-Service Nationals at Daytona Beach, FL from May 2-6. Best of luck!
