Registration

Central Registration is on the lower-level of Springboro Schools' Central Office building, which is located behind Springboro High School - 1685 South Main Street, Springboro, OH 45066. Follow the registration signs to the back of the building. The entrance to the registration office is located in the back of the Central Office building.  If you need further directions, please contact Registration directly at 937-748-6003.


NOTE: Wednesday, August 10 by 12:00pm is the latest a family can enroll, in order to start school on Tuesday, August 16, which is the first day of school.

During the summer months parents can complete student registrations with an appointment, turn in updated immunization records, submit school withdrawals, and change of address forms at the Central Registration Office, located in the Board of Education Building, rear entrance.

NOTE - You have to put "Springboro Schools" in your phone when searching Google Maps or Waze. Otherwise, you will be taken to a different location in town. This has been submitted to Google Maps and Waze, however these companies have not updated this error.

Student Registration Information (New & Current Students)

Each year, Springboro Schools welcomes a new group of students through its Pre-School and Kindergarten registration process. The youngest Panthers attend Clearcreek Elementary.

Please make note of the following new feature when logging into Registration Gateway

The Family Review functionality has been activated. Parents/Guardians will login by youngest child to update ALL students in the family. 

Parents will now login to Registration Gateway with their youngest child's information. 

Username - Youngest Student ID 

Password - Date of Birth (MMDDYYYY)*

*8-Digit Birthdate, No Dashes/Slashes, No Spaces, Only Numbers

The District requires this information to be completed by September 30, 2021. Address changes cannot be updated in Returning Student Registration Gateway. If you have an address change, please contact your student’s building secretary.

Please Note the District Policy for the Kindergarten Cutoff Date Has Changed. The policy now states - "A child is eligible for entrance into kindergarten if s/he attains the age of five (5) on or before the first (1st) day of August of the year in which s/he applies for entrance." If you have any questions, please give the Clearcreek Elementary office a call. We would be happy to help answer any questions (937-748-3958).

Students who are enrolling in Grades 6-12 will have an appointment set for them to meet with a school counselor to place them in the appropriate classes once they have finished the enrollment process at their school office.

Kindergarten Registration & Program Info

Kindergarten Registration


Step One: Online
Registration will be available online on our Registration page beginning in February 2022. Online registration will be required in order to select an appointment on one of the registration dates listed below.   
 
Step Two: In Person
March 1, 2022 - 10:00am - 6:00pm
March 2, 2022 - 1:00pm - 8:00pm
March 3, 2022 - 5:00pm - 8:00pm

All required documents must be brought to the registration appointment, except if the student’s physical is scheduled after the registration dates.  Not having the documents at appointment will require a new appointment to be scheduled at a later date.

Kindergarten Program Information

Transportation:  Provided to each student enrolled in the Kindergarten program

Requirements:  Children must be 5 on or before August 1st 
  • Morning or afternoon session, Monday through Friday
  • Class times: 9:20-12:05 a.m. and 1:20-4:05 p.m.
Fees:  $50 supply fee at the time of registration.

Preschool Lottery & Program Info

Preschool Applications Accepted
Online applications are available now - Click Here for Preschool Applications. The application link will remain open the entire school year, however those online applications submitted on or before March 25, 2022 will be considered for the lottery (no paper copies available).

Families will be notified by email of acceptance (and directions for the next steps for registration) or being on the waiting list the week of April 25, 2022.

Preschool Program Information
•    Morning or afternoon session, Monday through Thursday
•    Class times: 9:20-12:05 a.m. and 1:20-4:05 p.m.
•    Assignment of AM or PM sessions is dependent upon transportation routes
•    Anticipated configuration: Four classrooms with 16 children per classroom, ages 3-5, eight children with identified special needs and eight typically developing children, one classroom for children with identified special needs with 8 children in each session
•    One teacher and one assistant in each classroom
•    Five morning classes and five afternoon classes

Transportation: Provided to each student enrolled in the preschool program

Requirements:
•    Children must be 3 on or before August 1, 2022
•    Children must be toilet trained, children who get randomly selected through the lottery and are not potty-trained will be withdrawn

Tuition and Fees: 
Tuition will be $250 monthly. August’s tuition of $125 will be due by the first day of school – Monday, August 22, 2022 and the first day of the month thereafter through May 2023. Please note that failure to remain current with monthly preschool payments throughout the year will revoke your child’s eligibility for the program. Once accepted into the program, a non-refundable enrollment fee of $70.00 and supply fee of $50.00 are due at registration.

Back-to-School Registration Gateway

The Back-to-School Registration Gateway has been updated for the 2021-2022 school year annual forms collection, and is now open to the public. This offers parents the opportunity each year to review the information that the school has on file for your student(s), and to electronically sign all the required annual forms. If you are already registered, you do not need to re-register. This is simply to review the information we currently have on file and then sign this school year’s annual forms.

We want to provide ample time to everyone to complete the necessary student registration information. If you have any questions regarding this online process, please contact your school building's main office.

Required Documents for Registration

Please note that registrations will not be accepted without all required documents:

  • Child’s Original Birth Certificate/Certificate of Live Birth (Photocopies are not acceptable and the Certificate of Footprints is not acceptable)
  • Child's Immunization Record - Current record must be provided in order to complete registration
  • Proof of Residency
    • We will accept the mailing portion of your water, land-line phone, electric or cable bill, signed lease agreement or signed closing papers on your house (if signed within the last 30 days), or voting record. Proof must show your name and address. (Driver’s licenses, checks, bank statements and insurance documents are not acceptable.)
    • If you are building or buying a new home in the district and have not moved in yet, you must sign an affidavit stating the location and date you will be moved into your new home. 
  • Parent/Guardian ID - If name of ID does not match name on birth certificate, please bring verification of name change
  • Guardianship of Custody Papers (If applicable)
  • IEP/ETR/MFE/504 Plan (If applicable)
  • School Transcripts (Grades 6-12 Only)
  • Request for Records

New Student Enrollment

Your child’s first day of school will be two (2) business days after you have completed the enrollment process. You will be responsible for transporting your child(ren) to/from school until bus service has been arranged. The transportation department will contact you with the bus number, bus stop location, and the bus pick-up and drop-off times, as soon as that has been established. Please allow three (3) business days for transportation to be implemented.
