The Panther Experience

Our Strategic Mission and Vision

Our core values: People First. Always Growing. Better Together. These values exemplify our dedication to the students and staff of Springboro Schools. This is our culture blueprint known as "The Panther Experience."

Everything that happens in an organization depends on leadership, culture, and behavior. A group of educational leaders within Springboro Schools (administrators, teachers, counselors, etc.) worked in conjunction with Focus 3, an advisory firm that provides consulting and training resources to help school districts develop leaders, strengthen culture, and empower their people.

People First

Cultivate Relationships
How We Live It: We have strong work relationships to support one another, collaborate successfully, and join forces to positively influence the direction of the district. The motivation that results from our positive work environment is a powerful tool for professional growth.

Act with Compassion
How We Live It: A good work relationship requires trust, respect, inclusion, and open communication. When we trust our team members, we are open and honest in our thoughts and actions.

Communicate with Respect and Purpose
How We Live It: All good relationships depend on open, honest communication. Whether we're sending emails, speaking on the phone, or meeting face-to-face, the more effectively we communicate with those around us, the better we'll connect. When we listen, we connect.

Our Impact: Trust and Belonging

Always Growing

Learn from Success and Failure
We learn more from our failures than from our successes. Spark learning. We benefit from analyzing our behavior, initiating change, and finding the opportunity within. Encourage others to innovate. The fear of giving unintended offense creates an exaggerated emphasis on success and goal achievement. (Not everything can be, or is, perfect!) Neither success nor failure is final; we are on a learning journey and committed to pushing past our existing boundaries.

Reflect and Adapt
Approach every day with humility and a teachable spirit. We seek to understand what doesn't work so that we can adjust and monitor our future attempts, learning about ourselves in the process and gaining empathy towards others who might be struggling as well.

Take Responsibility
Have the self-awareness to take responsibility for your words and actions, and not let your own negative emotions impact the people around you. Rather than solely measuring our work in terms of successes and achievements, we do not lose sight of meaning and happiness in the work we do. Believe that your work has an impact.

Our Impact: Progress Over Perfection

Better Together

Connect and Collaborate
Teams working together with mutual respect value one another's input and find solutions based on collective insight, wisdom, and creativity.

Honor Different Perspectives
We will not only accept diverse people and opinions, we will welcome them. When your colleagues offer different opinions from yours, factor their insights and perspective into your decision-making. When we hear, we respond timely and proactively.

Make Time to Celebrate
We work every day to showcase our school district as a wonderful collection of people with different backgrounds and stories. We value, respect, and celebrate the perspectives of our staff, teachers, students, and community.

Our Impact: Shared Vision and Direction
