We do not live within the district. Can my child still attend Springboro Schools?
Thank you for your interest, but Springboro Schools does not participate in open enrollment. You must reside in the district to be able to attend.
How do I register?
Step One: Online
From the Registration page of the website, scroll to the Student Registration Information section. After clicking the New Student Registration link, you will need to create a username/password and follow the prompts to enter the required information. Once finished, the system will request you schedule the in-person appointment.
Step Two: In-Person
Please bring all of the following required documents to the appointment, as registration cannot be completed without them:
- Child’s Original Birth Certificate (photocopies and the footprints certificate are not acceptable)
- Child’s Current Immunization Record
- Parent/Guardian ID— If the name on your ID does not match the name on the birth certificate, please bring verification of name change.
- Current Proof of Residency
- We will accept an online statement (printed) or the mailing portion of your water, land-line phone, electric or cable bill, signed lease agreement, signed closing papers on your house (if signed within the last 30 days), or voting record. Proof must show your name and address. (Driver’s licenses, checks, mortgage & bank statements, and insurance documents are not acceptable.)
- If you are building or buying a home in the district and have not yet moved in, you must sign and notarize our affidavit stating the location and date you will be moved into your new home.
- Custody or Guardianship Papers (if applicable)
- IEP/ETR/MFE/504 Plan (if applicable)
My current student is transitioning to a new grade and/or building. Do I need to re-register? (Note: Preschool is an exception)
No, once your child is a registered school age student (KG – 12th) they will continue to advance to the next grade and/or building naturally. The school will then notify you when it is time to complete the yearly online forms in the Current Student Registration system.
Yearly registration is still required for attendance to our Preschool Program.
My child attended Springboro’s preschool program last year. Do I really need to re-register?
Yes. Please find instructions below on how to do so.
Step One: Online
You will first need to log back into the New Student Registration system and add a new student record for the student. You will see their previous record has been “finalized” and cannot be edited. With being known to the system, the process will go quicker than when you initially enrolled. Double check the parent/guardian information previously listed is still accurate as it pulls over to the new student record. This can be verified under the "Family Review" section on the homepage. You will then need to follow the prompts and schedule a registration appointment like before.

Proof must show your name and address. (Driver’s licenses, checks, mortgage & bank statements, and insurance documents are not acceptable.)
- Custody or Guardianship Papers (if applicable)
- Supply fee (paid by exact cash or check)
