Springboro Schools' Custodial and Maintenance Departments take great pride in maintaining the facilities in the district. Through an ongoing preventative maintenance program, our staff identifies and addresses areas of the buildings that need renovation, replacement, and/or repairs.
A variety of improvements have been completed across the district to the benefit of our students, teachers, staff, and community. None of this would have been made possible without the tremendous support of our Springboro community.
In May of 2021, we asked our voters for the passage of a Permanent Improvement (PI) Levy. This PI levy saw voter approval of nearly 70% adding a new additional 2-mill levy that generates roughly $3 million a year to be used for permanent improvements lasting five years or more to school facilities such as building repairs, HVAC, new school buses, and district maintenance.
The district completed an energy audit and has developed a capital improvement plan. Springboro Schools is continually evaluating the cost savings that can be picked up to implement the suggested energy conservation measures across our district.
We pride ourselves on being good stewards of taxpayer dollars, and the improvements that are being made as a result of our community support continue to take place. Click here to see what's been done!
