Our schools benefit from tens of thousands of volunteer hours every year, and we appreciate the time and energy of our active volunteers!
The safety of our students is our first priority. All volunteers are required to have current BCI and FBI fingerprint background checks on file with the district before they can volunteer. These checks are good for five years.
Parents and community members who would like to volunteer in our schools will need to conduct an FBI and BCI background check.
Contact your school’s building secretary to confirm if you have both volunteer background checks on file and what the expiration dates are. Please note: Background check results could take 4-6 weeks to receive by mail if there has ever been something on your record.
