SHS JROTC

Springboro High School's Junior ROTC Leadership & Academic Bowl Team has advanced to Level II testing in the JROTC national competition. The SHS JROTC team completed Level I testing prior to winter break. 490 JROTC teams from across the nation competed in Level I. Of those, 280 teams advanced to Level II. The team will do Level II testing in February. After that, the top sixteen (16) teams in Level II testing will advance to the National Championships in Washington DC, which will be held June 2020.

The JROTC Leadership & Academic Bowl testing is based on SAT/ACT material such as science, math, grammar, and reading comprehension. The test also includes JROTC curriculum, as well as current events. The SHS team took the Level I test scoring a 93% overall.
