Announcements for Students

Counseling Office:
PSAT:
The fee for taking the PSAT is $25 and can now be paid through your PaySchools AccountThe deadline for payment is Friday, October 5, 2022. Additional details regarding test day and materials needed, will be shared at a later date. Registration for the PSAT was held in the spring. A confirmation email was sent to the Springboro student email address of all registered students.  We recommend you pay the fee using PaySchools. If you prefer to pay by check, please send the payment to school with your student. The check should be brought to the SHS Guidance Office. Please make the check payable to Springboro High School for $25.00 and put your student's name on the Memo Line.

College Representative Visits:
Springboro High School will once again host college admissions representatives on our campus this fall. Admissions reps visiting SHS will provide details on applications, scholarships, and campus life at their respective colleges and universities. Students are permitted to visit with up to 3 admissions representatives and must sign up for the visit, via Naviance, at least 24 hours in advance of the visit. Any questions should be directed to Mr. Wilhite in the guidance office at [email protected]

New Student Meeting:
Attention students new to Springboro High School this year. The SHS Counselors would like to invite you to the Media Center this Thursday, October 6th, 2nd period, for a short meeting and donuts! This will be a time to meet your counselors and principals, ask questions about Springboro or other matters, and hear about different Clubs and Groups that are available here at Springboro. We want you to feel welcome here at SHS and look forward to hearing how your experience has been so far!  

Picture Retake Day:
Picture retake day has been scheduled for October 13th from 12:40-2:15 in the aux gym. Order forms are available in the front office and AP office. If you are having retakes, you must bring your old picture packet and the $5 retake fee. 

Senior Picture Information:
Below is very important information for senior pictures. Please click on the link and make sure to read this as there is lots of senior picture information. Please contact Mrs. Cooper if you have any questions.

Yearbook Pick-Up: 
If you have not been able to pick up your yearbook, then you may pick it up from the front receptionist desk. We received 90 extra yearbooks, so they will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Checks are payable to SHS for $75. Please email [email protected] for any questions.

PULSE:
Parents Understanding, Listening, Speaking & Encouraging
I am excited to bring back and start our PULSE meetings! Each month, SHS parents/guardians are welcome to come to Springboro High School for open conversations with SHS administrators, counselors, and staff. The first meeting will be October 20 at 8:00am, and will be held in the SHS Media Center.

Student Fees Added to PaySchool:
The 2022-2023 Student fees have been added to student accounts. Fees may be paid online via PaySchools Central on the District Website or by Cash / Check to Springboro High School.  The PaySchool portal is easy to set up and use. To get started, follow the instructions and resources below. Back-to-School Forms - Registration Gateway:
The Back-to-School Registration Gateway has been updated for the 2022-2023 school year for annual forms collection, and is now open to the public! This offers parents the opportunity each year to review the information that the school has on file for your student(s), and to electronically sign all the required annual forms. If you are already registered, you do not need to re-register. This is simply to review the information we currently have on file and then sign this school year’s annual forms.

Please make note of the following when logging into Registration Gateway:
?The Family Review functionality has been activated. Parents/Guardians will login by the youngest child to update ALL students in the family.

Parents will login to Registration Gateway with their youngest child's information:
Username - Youngest Student ID Password - Date of Birth (MMDDYYYY)* *8-Digit Birthdate, No Dashes/Slashes/Spaces, Only Numbers
  • Current Student Registration LINK
  • The District requires this information to be completed by September 30, 2022. Address changes cannot be updated in the "Current Student Registration Gateway." If you have an address change, please contact your student’s building secretary.
  • We want to provide ample time to everyone to complete the necessary student registration information. If you have any questions regarding this online process, please contact your student's building main office.
