COVID-19 Update

Springboro Schools is closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year, due to the State of Ohio's announcement, regarding COVID-19. Students who are on Free/Reduced Lunch or apart of the “Boro Packback Program” will still be able to receive food while the district is closed, due to the State of Ohio’s mandate. Springboro Schools will be in contact with these families, regarding details on food pickup and/or distribution.

Springboro Schools is providing meals to families in need. The Springboro Community Assistance Center (SCAC) will continue its food pick up services to families throughout the community. Food pick up dates will occur on Mondays each week, throughout the district's closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Read below to learn more about future dates, times, and how you can help!

The schedule listed below will be in place, as supplies are available tentatively throughout the district's closure, for students and their families on Free/Reduced Lunch with Springboro Schools.

**DUE TO SUPPLY, FAMILIES ARE ONLY PERMITTED TO PICKUP FOOD ONE DAY PER WEEK**

Important Information About Your Child’s School Meals
If you have a child in kindergarten through twelfth grade in your household who was receiving free or reduced-price meals while in school, your child is eligible for the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) program to receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits as a result of the school closure.

We understand with Springboro Schools being closed this is going to put an extra burden on some families for food. Please know that the SCAC is here to help all families that are in need during this time. We understand there are a lot of families that have not used a food pantry before, and this can be uncomfortable at first. It’s safe to say that this is a first for almost all of us.
