Springboro Schools is expanding its School Resource Officer (SRO) team through a continued partnership with the City of Springboro and local law enforcement. At the April 23rd Board of Education meeting, the district approved a contract to add an additional SRO, further enhancing the safety and security of our students and staff.
The unanimous support from both the Springboro Board of Education and the City Council sends a clear message: the safety of our students and staff is a top priority.
With this expansion, our SRO team will provide even greater coverage across our schools, strengthening relationships between officers, students, and staff. This investment reflects our ongoing commitment to a secure and supportive learning environment.
City of Springboro Manager Chris Pozzuto shared:
