29 people from 17 different countries became U.S. citizens yesterday at a Naturalization Ceremony held at Springboro High School (SHS). The SHS Chamber Choir performed a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem for the audience in attendance.
Amongst family and friends, the area's newest citizens took their oath of citizenship at SHS's Auditorium that was administered by U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Guy R. Humphrey. This is the second year Springboro Schools has hosted a Naturalization Ceremony.
Thank you to Judge Humphrey and thank you to City of Springboro Mayor John Agenbroad, Treasurer/CFO Terrah Stacy, and Principal Kyle Martin who were on-hand for the ceremony.
A special thank you to the SHS JROTC who served as greeters.
