April is “Month of the Military Child,” and dedicated to celebrating all of the United States' military connected youth. Across the district today, Military Appreciation Day was celebrated.
Clearcreek and Five Points Elementary, as well as SHS hosted a breakfast for its military families, while Dennis Elementary held an ice cream social this afternoon. Springboro Intermediate ran a slide presentation, in honor of their military families, while Springboro Junior High featured military students on their news broadcast.
Thank you to those who attended and to all those who helped make this morning a special “Purple Up!” day for our military families. Another thank you to 937Ink for donating a portion of the "Purple-Up" Spirit Wear proceeds back to each school's Purple Star fund.
