Dennis Elementary's 5th Grade Student Council recently held a food drive for the Springboro Community Assistance Center (SCAC).
The students showed their generosity by making this one of the school's biggest food donations. Student Council members volunteered by loading and unloading all of the donated food items at the SCAC.
They also were given a tour of the SCAC and learned how it helps families in Springboro. Thank you to Mrs. Hoy and Mrs. Gosselin for meeting with the Dennis Elementary students and teaching them the importance of volunteering and helping people in our community.
