Five Points Students Present to Board of Education

Students from Mrs. Page’s second grade class at Five Points Elementary did a fantastic job presenting to the board everything they have learned about the monarch butterfly through their Monarch Exploration project! The students took turns sharing exciting facts about monarchs and sang “The Monarch Butterfly Song.”   Before leaving, the students provided each of the board members with a milkweed plant. The students shared that milkweed is the natural habitat for the butterflies, and necessary to conserve the monarch population. Great job Mrs. Page’s class!
