Annie Crouse, beloved Art Teacher at Springboro Junior High School (SJHS), retired at the conclusion of this year after spending 42 years in education. Mrs. Crouse spent 32 of those years with Springboro Schools. Annie's kindness, compassion, and dedication to her students was immeasurable.
SJHS students and staff celebrated Mrs. Crouse in many ways over the course of the last week, culminating in a surprise golf cart ride through the school on the students’ last day. Mrs. Crouse's students and colleagues lined the hallways, cheering and waving signs, to wish her well and congratulate her on her retirement.
Mrs. Crouse summed up her last day by saying, “This day rates right up there behind having my children placed in my arms for the first time.” Happy Retirement Mrs. Crouse! You will be missed more than words can say.
