Welcome to the Springboro High School 2024 Summer School Course Guide. Please use the enclosed registration form to sign up for classes.
- Original Credit Courses: May 29th - June 11th
- 7:30 am -1:30 pm
- Credit Recovery Courses: May 29th - June 18th
- 7:30 am -12:30 pm
Completed registration forms should be returned to the Assistant Principal’s office at the High School by the following deadlines:
- Original Credit Course: May 10th
- Credit Recovery Course: May 29th
*Checks must accompany the registration and should be made payable to: Springboro Community Schools.

Summer School Credit Recovery
High school classes are offered for credit recovery in a self-paced digital format. Computers will be provided and attendance is required. Students are expected to meet the course requirements within the 15-day window.
- Credit Recovery begins May 29th
- All course work must be finished by June 18th.
The credit recovery program is staffed by teachers from each content area: science, mathematics, English, and social studies. Students will have access to each of these individuals throughout the week in face to face meetings and via email.

ATTENDANCE POLICY
Summer School offers students the opportunity to take courses for original or make-up credit. Due to the limited number of days to meet standards for issuing course credit for summer courses, daily attendance is REQUIRED. Students absent more than one day in a semester course will not receive credit for the course. Please plan your vacation and work schedule with summer school dates to avoid conflicts.
Sixty contact hours are required to give ½ or ¼ credit for a semester course. Teachers may adjust the instructional day to accommodate activities and meet the required contact hours. Teachers will provide a calendar no later than the first day of class.
Refunds: No refunds will be made after the first day of Summer School (May 29th) Staffing and course offerings will be based on registration.
STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT
Summer School is a continuation of the regular school program. All policies and procedures of Springboro High School and the Board of Education, including dress code, will apply.
Violations of the Student Code of Conduct may result in removal from summer school with no refund.
