Dennis Elementary is a second through fifth grade building that serves roughly 800 students. All students engage in core classes that include Reading/English Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and Science. In grades 2-3 students enjoy the following special area classes: art, gym, music and computer lab. Students in grades 4-5 enjoy art, gym, music and STEM lab. Dennis Elementary students prepare to ROAR both in and outside of the building. ROAR is our building-wide Positive Behavior Intervention Support plan that teaches students to become respectful, orderly, attentive and responsible citizens. At Dennis, we inspire our students to make choices and challenge them with what has become our daily mantra: “good choice, poor choice, your choice...make it a great day!” At Dennis we also challenge our students to care about others. We demonstrate this care in how we interact, how we give back to our community and how we always look for opportunities to help others.
